Since 2014, Student Diplomacy Corps programs have prepared underserved high school students for college and global citizenship. We honor the students, donors, host families and educators across the nation and around the world who have fueled an incredible decade of Student Diplomacy.
In 2023, our largest cohort of 190 students explored the world with energy and creativity.

The SDC Difference
11 percent of low-income, first-generation students are completing college. SDC alumni matriculate at top
150 colleges and universities 50% more often than peers who did not participate in SDC, have been
offered more than 2.5 times the amount of scholarship dollars and graduate at over 70% – nearly 7 times
the rate for their income bracket. *

“My SDC summer was one of the most daring and exciting times in my life. It completely changed my
approach to learning and trying new things and will always be a reminder of how new experiences help
you grow as a human.” Omar Khan, SDC 2018 to Italy. Posse recipient and graduate of Franklin and
Marshall College.
SDC informed my academic career by helping solidify my love for anthropology. What I learned as an
anthropologist has helped my career in healthcare. As a Nurse Practitioner, understanding different
cultural backgrounds is key to connecting with patients. Stephanie Inga SDC Mexico 2014, Boston
University 2019
